SANTA BRINGS TOYS TO THE BART STATION
The Bart station in West Oakland gets a surprise from Oakland's "Mother of the Year" by giving away 500 hundred toys, given to her by Toys R Us and other Bay Area stores, to families who can’t afford to make their children happy on Christmas Day.

Entertainer Chosen Oakland's Mother of the Year
An entertainer was chosen this year, 2000, to be Oakland's Mother of the Year because of her efforts to help the needy and give back to the Community by feeding one to two hundred people a day. This was given to Kiesha Wright and the presentation was at the ROSE GARDEN in OAKLAND California.
