Kenny King Smith has been performing as a celebrity impersonator for 20 years, he first discovered his own voice singing gospel songs in his local Watsonville church, where the audience remarked that he sounded just like the legend Barry White. With his wide range of tones, and deep singing voice, Kenny King Smith, emulated the looks and voice of Barry White and started to perform as a celebrity look alike/impersonator. During his travels as a celebrity impersonator he met Kiesha Wright, who was traveling around the world—well known for her performance as celebrity look alike Tina Turner; they met in a show called "The Motown Review."  Since that time Kenny King Smith decided to work with Kiesha Wright, and other celebrity impersonators, performing as Barry White in "Tina Mania", a tribute show to Tina Turner.
